Purpose: To demonstrate different types of waves at varying speeds in a way to easily explain wave concepts.

An old wave machine you crank from the back at any speed you wish.

You can demonstrate water waves, sound waves, and ether waves at slow or fast speeds. It is an ideal way to demonstrate that while the wave itself may appear to move, each individual particle simply moves up and down.
