Introduction to Electrodynamics, 3rd edition by Griffiths

HOMEWORK:

Homework will be assigned every Thursday. No homework will be accepted after the end of the Thursday lecture. Solutions will be posted online. Your lowest homework grade will be dropped (including missing).

QUIZZES:

Short quizzes will be given during regular lectures. There are no make-up quizzes. The two lowest quiz scores (including missed quizzes due to illness or travel or family emergencies,… ) will be dropped. Formula sheets would be provided by me for the quizzes.

GRADING:

Grading will be based on homework (25%), in class quizzes (15%), two midterms (30%), and the final (30%).

The Honor System will be enforced for all homework, quizzes, and examinations. You should not help other students nor receive assistance from them during the exams. You should not use any aid except those provided by me during the exams. You can discuss the homework with your classmates, but should not copy their homework nor allow your homework to be copied by them. You can’t use any solution manual.
