Belle Collaboration publishes new results on CP violation in the decay of B mesons

The Belle Collaboration, which includes Physics faculty member Dr. Leo Piilonen, just published an article in the prestigious journal Nature, reporting new results on CP violation in the decay of B mesons.

In the words of noted theorist Michael Peskin, this "provides a tantalizing glimpse of a possible new source for a very fundamental asymmetry: the dominance of matter over antimatter in our Universe." To read Peskin's entire commentary, click here.
