Prof. Michel Pleimling organizes international seminar in Dresden, Germany

Prof. Michel Pleimling, with Prof. Malte Henkel (Nancy, France), Prof. David Mukamel (Rehovot, Israel), and Prof. Gunter Schuetz (Juelich, Germany), is organizing the international seminar Many-body Systems Far From Equilibrium: Fluctuations, Slow Dynamics and Long-range Interactions. The conference takes place February 16-27, 2009 in Dresden, Germany. Experts from four continents will discuss recent advances in the understanding of properties of systems that are far from equilibrium. The list of internationally renowned speakers include Virginia Tech's Physics professors Uwe Täuber and Royce Zia.
