Professor Uwe Tauber was recognized by the American Physical Society (APS) for his outstanding services as a reviewer. He has generously contributed his time and expertise to evaluate the quality and relevance of manuscripts submitted to APS journals which count amongst the most prestigious journals in physics. According to the APS, Dr. Tauber's "reports and advice have helped to advance and diffuse the knowledge of physics, while creating a resource that is invaluable to authors, researchers, students, and readers."

The APS has a database of over 42,000 reviewers. Only about 1% of this group is being recognized in this fashion.
