M07: Atwood's Machine

Purpose: To demonstrate the laws of motion with constant acceleration.

Description:

A simple classic Atwood's machine.
A string hanging over a pulley with two masses; one on either side of the pulley.
Make the masses equal and observe the system is in equilibrium regardless of the position of the masses.
Make the masses different and observe the acceleration experienced in the system.

Equipment List: Storage Location: HahnN 130A

Two masses I2.3
  Pulley H3.3
