Subject: Re: Qweak working group - next meeting

Mark,

For reference, I placed a v-shaped cut on events at the bar from the
10-8-22 Boston collimator. In fact, I shaved half of the moustache for
simplicity as follows and multiplied the rate from the half moustache
by two:

Cut: verty_in>0 .and. verty_in<105 .and. (vertx_in<320-0.1*verty_in)
.and. vertx_in>300

so I'm accepting everything below an angled cut from the centre of the
bar to the end down to r = 300 cm. No stepping of the collimator.

Elastic rate: 583 MHz (was 614 MHz on straight bar for 302 < r < 318 cm)
Avg Q^2: 0.02987
FOM: 0.52
Inelastics (REAC = 3): 0.11 MHz, or 0.02%

The attached pdf file shows the trimmed moustache with the actual rate
per bin on the scale at the right (no factor of 2).

Jim
