In fact, I shaved half of the moustache for simplicity as follows and multiplied the rate from the half moustache by two: Cut: verty_in>0 .and. verty_in<105 .and. (vertx_in<320-0.1*verty_in) .and. vertx_in>300 so I'm accepting everything below an angled cut from the centre of the bar to the end down to r = 300 cm. No stepping of the collimator. Elastic rate: 583 MHz (was 614 MHz on straight bar for 302 < r < 318 cm) Avg Q^2: 0.02987 FOM: 0.52 Inelastics (REAC = 3): 0.11 MHz, or 0.02% The attached pdf file shows the trimmed moustache with the actual rate per bin on the scale at the right (no factor of 2).
