Just a further note that the figure of merit of 0.52 noted below would let us 
measure Qw to an absolute statistical accuracy of 2.3E-3 in 2200 hours with a 
beam polarization of 85%, that is to 3.0% of Qw using the TDR value of 
Qw = 0.0756. To reach the TDR goal of 2.8% of Qw we would need to run for 
2550 hours.

A version of the downstream collimator with its sharper cutoff in angle, 
wider plateau in angular acceptance and potentially better separation of 
elastics from inelastics should ultimately do better than this.
