What about simple bars (say a 15cm wide case and 18 cm wide case) attached optically with a tilt of ~3 degrees. What 
happens if there are mirrors in the middle? Also, can we make the light collection more uniform by re-optimizing the 
overall rotation angle w.r.t. incident electrons?
