not sure if it is of interest for todays meeting, but I just want to let 
you know:

I have started Geant4 simulation with the primary focus on the VDC 
implementation.

I'm still catching up with all the collimator implementations, but this 
is a matter of a few
days that the Geant4 simulation has all the (hardware) elements installed.
