Fortunately Juliette did the same thing (much more then I did) and put it in a fantastic clear presentation that there is nothing I could add to. The results she obtained agree with the ones I have so I would not repeat them here. The only thing I would add is the way I decide on the size of the detector because sometimes it is confusing when we discuss the width of the detector. The distribution I use is Theta_out vs. Vertical position (shown in the attached figure). I require total acceptance of that kinematical shape. On the other two figures you can see the shape of the detector and the distribution of the inelastics. Juliette used exactly this detector size: 302-318 cm and length of 210 cm.
