Graduate Physics Student Society (GPSS)
The Graduate Physics Student Society (GPSS) is a registered student organization that focusses on uniting and encouraging graduate physics students in three main areas:
- Academics/student life: (e.g., practicing public talks, organizing mock qualifying exams, hosting guest speakers)
- Social engagement: (e.g., hosting chess tournaments, potluck dinners, group hiking trips, movie nights, and virtual happy hours)
- Community outreach: (e.g., participating in Relay for Life, activities with residents of local retirement homes)
All Physics graduate students, faculty, staff, and their significant others are welcome to attend GPSS events. Stay tuned for announcements on this site, as well as email and social media.
