Fall Semester 2019 students
Welcome new students, faculty and staff members!
The Physics Department welcomes our new students, faculty, and staff. Among undergraduates, we have 61 freshmen and 7 transfer students joining us. We have twelve new students, representing six different countries, joining our graduate class. (Most of them are shown in the photo above during their orientation). New staff members include Savannah Hayes, who joined us this summer as a Program Support Technician, and Will Clark, who joined us this month as a Lab Technician to support our teaching laboratory program. Finally, we welcome new faculty member Assistant Professor Nadir Kaplan. Welcome all of you to the VT Physics Department family!
