Undergraduate Yannick Pleimling awarded a 2023 Goldwater Scholarship

Undergraduate physics major Yannick Pleimling has been announced as a 2023 Goldwater Scholar! 

The Goldwater Scholarship is known as "the most prestigious undergraduate scholarship in the natural sciences, mathematics, and engineering in America." Yannick lists his career goal as: "Ph.D. in Physics. Aiming for a teaching and experimental condensed matter physics research position at a university." He has been working on research with Professors Giti Khodaparast and Brenden Magill and graduate student Nicholas Smith.
